Meet Buddy. K9Kare's newest program dog. Buddy is a 3 - 5 yr old lab mix. Life has not been kind to Buddy, but that has not dampened Buddy's spirit. He has suffered a recent eye injury and is very very timid of any sudden movements. Someone has most likely been very unkind to him, but he is the sweetest boy ever. His foster mom has videoed him being gentle with cats.
Livingston has been thriving since K9Kare first picked him up. He bonded with his foster sister Jewel (another amputee taken in by K9Kare) and it helped him tremendously with his confidence!
We can know proudly and happily say that Livingston has adopted and united with his fur-ever home where he will live the happy dog life that he deserves.
Congratulations Livingston on your new fur-ever family. We LOVE you!
Livingston's story has touched thousands. K-9Kare sincerely hopes that Livingston's tragedy and journey to recover will become an icon for the hundreds of homeless companion animals in Houston and surrounding areas that suffer every day.
